Ribbon Plant (Spider plants) are native to South Africa, so they enjoy warm climates with moderate rainfall. Spider plants prefer bright indirect light. Basking in indirect sunlight makes them happy plants. Lots of water during summer months but not enough to be swimming with the fishes. Spider plants likefast-draining pots and soil.

Pothos (Epipremnum aureum), native to southeastern Asia, also called golden pothos. Their hardy indoor foliage looks like heart shaped leaves that are thick, waxy and green with splashes of yellow. These hanging plants climb by means of aerial roots.

Wandering Dude (Tradescantia) is native to Mexico. These easy to care for plants are fast growing, with leaves that are Shiny and variegated with green and red. Dudes like bright indirect light, if their colors fade they are not getting enough light.

Umbrella plant (Schefflera), is an evergreen shrub that grows in tropical climates,it is native to Taiwan. These are easy to care for plants that are fast growers. Umbrella Plants require a good amount of indirect sunlight.

Kalanchoe is native to Madagascar and Tropical Africa, these plants love bright full sun mainly during the growing season when they bloom. Kalanchoe are succulents that need well aerated and fast draining soil. These fast growers like clay pots due to their sensitive roots.

Monstera is native to the rainforests. Central America is where this vine climbs high into trees. Our lovely Monstera has claw-like, swiss cheese leaves that have dark green foliage. Monstera likes to have good drainage, their prefered Soil types are: loamy, sandy, clay, acidic or slightly alkaline. They prefer their soil to partially dry between waterings.

Philodendron are native to tropical America. This is a very versatile plant and can be grown successfully in or outdoors. This climbing plant adapts well to most light conditions, although they prefer indirect sunlight .The Philodendron is considered a no-fail houseplant because of it’s easy care.

Jade (Crassula Ovata) also known as a lucky plant or a money plant, is native to Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa. The Jade is a succulent plant with small pink and white flowers, they require fast draining, sandy soil, and soil that is alkaline or slightly acidic. The jade plant is extremely slow at growing. For a healthy growing Jade you want to use rain water or demineralized water.
